As a part of the cultural fest organised by the students of Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth, Lakshya was conducted on the 11th of April along with the inauguration of Bharata Society (cultural club). The club was inaugurated by #CVV Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahadevan Managing Trustee Dr Apparao Mukkamala, Swami Advayananda and campus director Sri N M Sundar
The fest started with classical music & dance and continued with a series of film-based dances, songs, flute recital, ghazals, mono act, poem recital, dance and drama, and a theatrical play on modern-day Ramayana. Thereafter, the students danced their hearts out at the DJ show. It was indeed a memorable day for the students and faculty members of CVV!

Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth conducts "Knowledge Traditions & Practices of India"(KTPI) Teachers' Training Workshop for the CBSE Higher Secondary Schools.
One of the essentials to be considered ‘educated’ is understanding one's ancestral culture. The Indian culture has considered Knowledge as supreme yet all of that rich heritage has become restricted to a few erudite scholars who have worked in isolation. In order to provide access to the diverse streams of Indian Knowledge Tradition, CBSE provided a multi-disciplinary course for the Higher Secondary students.
But there was a fatal flaw - after 7 decades of neglect, there were no teachers at the school level that could 'teach' this course. As schools and teachers grappled with the problem, Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth decided to address the issue by designing this unique Teachers' Training Workshop for the CBSE Higher Secondary Schools.

Glimpses of the Fine arts fest 'Sparsha', conducted on the 7th of April, with various competitions like Pencil sketching, Face painting, Mehendi, and Story Writing, with the judges being the faculty members and Br Chirantan Chaitanya It was a beautiful and colorful event that can be cherished forever!
