Abha Mohan is pursuing her Ph.D in Finance from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. Her primary area of research is International Finance. Currently her research works revolve around the topic: ‘Stock Markets and Macroeconomic Variables’. As part of the Ph.D work, she is concentrating upon the Stock markets of BRICS Countries. She has presented research papers in many National Seminars and International Conferences, which were well appreciated and recognised. Also she has published research papers in recognised journals. Since 2011, she has been serving as a Commerce faculty in the Colleges affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University. She has handled a wide number of courses for Bachelor and Master Programmes of Commerce. But her main focus of teaching is on the courses like Capital Market, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Direct Taxes. Besides being a full time academician, she is an artist with immense passion towards classical art forms. She is a trained ‘Mohiniyattam’ performer, who has performed in various prestigious National Dance Festivals of India.
