Prof. Hari Sundar Govindaraman brings with him two decades of experience combining industry as well as academics. A journalist turned academician, he has been a prolific writer in The Hindu daily and later served as Faculty in various prestigious institutes such as TKM Institute of Management, VIT Business School of VIT University and was also a guest faculty for AIMA MBA programme in PSG IM. His areas of research includes Consumer Behaviour especially marketing to kids, Rural Consumer behaviour, Prestige brands as well as management principles from Indian epics. An erudite researcher, he has several awards to his credit , some among being teh IMRF Managerial Excellence award, Management Researcher award, Shailesh J Mehta award for best research paper and more. He has conducted several training programmes in Case methodology of teaching and Case writing, Innovative teaching methods and many more. He also serves as the subject expert in teh Board of Studies of several autronomous institutes in Tamil Nadu. He has also provided consultancy to several companies for the marketing plan development including Sri Krishna Sweets, Pichavaram mangrove tourism and more.
