Dr. Manjula Iyer has two decades of teaching experience combining both Academic and Administration. She holds a Doctorate Degree in Commerce. She was heading the Self-Financing Department of Commerce at Bharata Matha College, Thrikkakara, Ernakulam [ NAAC ‘A’ Grade Accredited Arts and Science College, affiliated to M G University Kottayam, Kerala].

She has a rich experience in reviewing and editing Commerce Manuscripts. She has presented and published over 30 research papers in National /International Conferences/Journals. She has been conferred with the honour of Best Teacher by IMRF (International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh in 2015.  She is also doing a Major Research Project of Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), MHRD, New Delhi. 

She was a member in the Curriculum Revision Committee of B Com Programmes of MG University. She is a nominated Member in the Compliant Committee constituted under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace [Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal Act] 2013 in the office of the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Kendriya Shram Sadan, Kakkanad, Kochi.

Apart from the curriculum side, she used to give lectures in Community Development Programmes and participated in invited talk shows. She was also invited as judge in various Debate Competitions.
