Chinmaya University looks for applicants who excel in the classroom as well as in their other interests and passions. Beyond standardised test scores/marks, our applicants are expected to display a passion that goes beyond a job-seeking-education; and an eagerness to explore their full-potential. This means exhibiting curiosity, readiness to learn, and an open mind, three attributes that enable the student to examine their full potential and employ it.
      • Extra-curricular activities and interests
Applicants should have demonstrated interests outside the classroom. We want to see evidence of persistence, commitment and leadership, or of personal growth; be it through participation in sports, involvement in creative arts, social and cultural affairs, or community welfare.

Unless we have a definite faith in the goal of our existence, and unless we believe, work for, and actually come to experience the goal positively as an existent factor, there is no hope of any plan becoming successful. —Swami Chinmayananda
