Born into a musical family, Sarada Prasan Das started his violin lessons from his father Shri Ramesh Chandra Das, a renowned violinist of Odisha. He began his violin lessons early from his father and as well as his father’s Guru Ustad Md. Hameed Ahad.

He later on became a disciple of Dr. Swarna Khuntia (disciple of Smt. N Rajam), Assistant Professor in violin, Faculty of Performing Arts, BHU, Varanasi), from whom he is currently taking the Gayaki Ang training in violin. His music journey has spanned in India and other countries as a solo artist and as a team player in Classical, Semi Classical and Fusion music.

Teaching/Work Experience
• Conducted music workshops in India and abroad
• Delivered violin lectures in IIT, BHU and Department of Instrumental Music, Faculty of Performing Arts, BHU
• Has conducted summer workshop and free music classes for tribal and poor children in various parts of Odisha and Varanasi
• Conducted a workshop on ‘Indian Music and New Approaches’ in Sikkim University
